Staying safe on the move
Whether you’re moving home or office, we know how stressful it can be to get the paperwork together, and how much the countdown to completion means.
However, especially in these changing times, the health and safety of everyone involved has to come first.
If any member of your household or office team is showing symptoms of coronavirus or self-isolating, please contact us. It’s important that the work should be delayed to ensure that we can move you at a time which is safe for everyone.
We will also show the same respect to you – no work should be carried out by a person who has coronavirus symptoms, however mild.
While we’re in your property
Even if no one is showing any signs or symptoms of coronavirus, there are some things that you can do to reduce the risk while we are with you.
Please open all of your windows and internal doors and clean your surfaces and possessions with household cleaning products before we enter your property.
Once our team has entered your property, they will wash their hands using separate towels or paper towels, which will need to be washed or disposed of safely. To limit any further need for us to access a water supply, we will bring our own refreshments.
We have developed a buddy system, with only two of the Fast Forward Removals team sharing a van at a time. The same people will work together to remove bulky items and furniture.
Our aim is to minimise all contact with you through remaining two metres away from members of your property at all times, and we really appreciate your help in maintaining this.
Thank you for helping us to keep our team and yours safe while on the move.
